Pensamos Cuba (We think Cuba)
The gator is a classic symbol of the island because of its shape like our geography, as well as their presence. I was also thinking of the Lacoste gator, that symbol on their polo shirts. I made it red because it’s the traditional color of Communism. It’s ironic, a joke. The green tongue is the color of the armed forces. It’s also the color of our palms.
