Are women’s posters a different sensitivity? A Woman’s Scream aims to be a comprehensive and inclusive review of the presence of women in the weighted history of Cuban poster art. A look that allows you to follow the main events of post-1959 Cuba. Omissions? As in any process of selection, there are, though some not incidental but in a deliberate, necessary way. But if something can be asserted with complete certainty, it is that these Cuban women have managed to reaffirm the standard judgment of the poster as a cry… sometimes a raucous wail… sometimes calm and certain. –Yadira Gongora, Cuban graphic design specialist
