“Cuba PostCastro”

In 2008, when Fidel Castro said he would step down, I sat at my computer and thought what I wanted to say about this. The first poster of the Revolution was created by Eladio Rivadulla in 1959. I took the image of Fidel from that poster and multiplied it because the real Cuba post Fidel, here and now, is full of young people the age that he was when he came to power, who are bringing new ideas. Fidel may be no more, but the young people have a revolutionary spirit here.

The title “Cuba Postcastro” is in quotes because that’s how some Miami Cubans talk about this time, their plans for a Cuba post Castro.
