Mayo Teatral 2012
Every two years there is the Mayo teatral festival when theater companies from across Latin America come to Cuba to present their plays. My design idea was a little joke. It represents people who parade to our Plaza of the Revolution every May Day. The standard slogan is “Everyone to the Plaza.” I used the same language except we said “Everyone to the theater.” There were even little flags like people wave for May Day with the theater slogan. We got a big response. Festival attendance was high that year.
